Dreamville Homes provides 2-5-10 year warranty for all of our new construction projects that meets or exceeds the requirement of B.C. Building code under the Homeowners Protection Act.

What does our warrant cover?

1 YEAR – Materials and Labour CoverageMaterial and Labour warranty covers against any defects in workmanship and materials that may occur during the first year of completion.

2 YEAR – Mechanical System CoverageMechanical System Coverage extends to crucial mechanical systems that keep the home comfortable. The coverage provides for any defects in material and labour supplied for gas, A/C, electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation systems as well as exterior cladding, caulking, windows and doors.

5 YEAR – Building Envelope CoverageBuilding Envelope covers many elements that provide protection against the “building envelope”. The warranty covers against water penetrations and a number of other hazards that threaten the home such as roof, window installation, cladding, etc.

10 YEAR – Structural Defect CoverageThe Structural Defect warranty covers the key structural components of the home. The coverage applies to defects in material and labour that result in the failure of a load-bearing part of the new home. Furthermore, that causes structural damage and affects the owner’s ability to safely use or occupy the home.
